UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY!
PARIS BREST PARIS happens next year and you need a Super Randonneur series to qualify. This is the first weekend of the season to complete an ACP event that will count toward your PBP qualification. The weather is probably going to be typical of the PNW, the sun will rise late and set early, but maybe if you are motivated and still have those summer legs? Then this 600k is for you. 600km of Oregon’s best views and medium roads, approximately 4000m of climbing and a convenient overnight at 400km in Forest grove (lots of hotels available), this is an event we hosted a couple months ago with success.
This event will count toward PBP but will not however count toward a 2027 Super Randonneur series. Yes, this is confusing and if you would like more information please send a message through the contact form. Oregon Rando will have another opportunity to complete a PBP qualification 600 later in the season.

A CLUB FAVORITE ROUTE OVER THE RURAL WEST SIDE
Take off from our pals MCMENAMINS GRAND LODGE and head toward hwy 6 and a short climb to the small town of Timber, cross hwy 26 and weave your way to Vernonia where you will hop on the Banks Vernonia rail trail and jig jog back through bucolic farm lands to finish at the VERBOORT SAUSAGE & KRAUT FEST where you can buy sausage and kraut (if you partake).
