CALL IN SICK–you need a mental health day
When cyclists come to Portland they always ask what to ride and what it's like riding here. 100km of a real PDX cycling experience - espressos, hills out, hills in, rose gardens, sweet views, mixed surfaces (32mm tires probably? good), a forested descent to a beautiful bridge, working class neighborhoods to a natural area, cross another bridge (espresso stop) to tax evading Vancouver and back, multi user paths and a climb up a dormant volcano, descend bike streets through Ladds addition and the singer songwriter bummer that is Division St before crossing our newest Tilikum bridge.
Pretty close to an evergreen Portland bike ride, suitable for most seasons.
Reasonably low traffic but it does go through the city.
This is a ride to experience, not a ride to FKT.
